At Last, 59-year-old Blind Teacher Finally Finds Love as He Weds His Lovely Wife (Photo)

59-year-old visually-impaired teacher and his wife finally married
A 59-year-old visually-impaired teacher and 1991 Political Science Education graduate of University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, Mr. Alphonsus Orjinta has finally gotten married in Enugu after years of rejection and loneliness.
Narrating how God finally answered his prayers in an interview with Vanguard, Mr. Orjinta, who could not contain his joy, thanked God for the opportunity and privilege granted him after several unsuccessful attempts at getting married largely due to his blindness.
The couple had their first contact in 2016, which eventually culminated in a wedlock.
Mr. Orjinta said: “I have made many failed attempts in the past to get a soul mate since many were not willing to settle with him because of his sight challenge. The Almighty God has done a wonderful and awesome thing that I never expected to happen in my life. For so long I have been searching for a partner and at last, God has crowned my efforts by showing me my wife, who is truly the bone of my bones and the flesh of my flesh.”
He expressed gratitude to God for this one-in-a-million favour granted him.
On her part, the wife, Mrs. Caroline Orjinta (Nee Njoku Chinedu), who hails from Ezinato-Ohafia Oduma in Aninri Local Government Area, LGA, of Enugu State, expressed fulfillment in finally settling down with a man she loves so much.
She declared: “God is in charge of all things. It is not good not to accept people because of their conditions. People can be accepted for the sake of Christ who is love personified and with the love you have developed for that person, you will get committed to taking care of him in love.”
Mrs Orinta prayed for God’s continued blessings in their marriage so that they would both make heaven in the end. Mr. Alphonsus Orjinta was born on the 18th of November 1958. He hails from Mpu in Aninri Local Government Area of Enugu State.
Though, he was born blind, Mr. Orjinta never allowed fate to dictate his pace in life; he took bold steps to create his world and made a meaning out of it despite the natural hindrance and challenge posed by his blindness.
His doggedness saw him through primary and secondary schools in the earlier stages of his life. Mr. Orjinta graduated from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, UNN, in 1991 from the Department of Political Science Education. Since his graduation, he has been a teacher at the College of Immaculate Conception, Enugu.

Marriage: A school of learning, discovery

By Pastor Okokon Ating I have been enlightened that marriage is an insti-tution established by God which no student has gra-duated from. Once an in-dividual is able to obtain admission into this sch-ool, one keeps on learning till death. In the school of marriage every student is a novice. No matter how highly educated one is, he/she has a blank knowledge compared with the normal academic attainment.                                                   wedding ring
There are many mysteries embedded in marriage unknown to the unlearned heart. Couples do not know marriage but learn and study it. That is, cou-ples learn and study it when they come into the practical aspect of it. I came in contact with a young lady who was busy attending marriage semin-ars and reading several books on marriage. Atten-ding seminars and reading books on marriage are good, I told her; but where you can know and be pr-oud of living confidently in marriage is when you enter into the reality of marriage. This is w…
